Operations Manager – Ebola Response (6‑month contract)

About the role

The Operations Manager provides strategic leadership, coordination and oversight of all operational functions for the Ebola response in Bunia, ensuring agile and risk‑informed systems that support timely delivery of supplies, rapid deployment of personnel and uninterrupted program delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic leadership and coordination of supply chain, finance, administration, risk management and ICT for the Ebola response.
• Ensure operational systems are agile, risk‑informed and responsive to emergency needs.
• Advise the Ebola Coordination team on operational approaches, governance, resource optimisation and systems strengthening in line with the emergency response plan.
• Oversee financial management, internal controls and compliance with simplified emergency procedures.
• Manage logistics and service delivery to maintain uninterrupted program response across affected areas.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree.
