Head of Warehouses Operations

About the role

The Head of Warehouses Operations will lead and optimise all warehouse activities across multiple sites in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Reporting to the Logistics Director, you will drive a culture of safety, efficiency and continuous improvement while managing a team of warehouse managers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and manage warehouse managers and their teams across all locations.
• Oversee daily operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfilment and dispatch.
• Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to boost productivity and reduce errors.
• Ensure accurate inventory control, minimise discrepancies and run cycle‑counting programmes.
• Supervise the implementation and use of Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP platforms.
• Define KPIs, track performance and report operational efficiency to senior management.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, sales and third‑party logistics providers to align demand and delivery.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English (both languages required).
• Proven experience leading warehouse or logistics teams at a senior level.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory control and SOP implementation.
• Ability to travel to different sites within the DRC.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) usage.
• ERP system experience.
• Inventory management and cycle counting.
• KPI definition and performance reporting.
