Product Reliability and Continuous Improvement Manager

About the role

The Product Reliability and Continuous Improvement Manager leads reliability initiatives for all Epiroc equipment fleets operating in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role focuses on increasing equipment uptime, extending mean time between failures, and reducing repair times to boost customer productivity and service profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse KPIs such as availability, utilization, MTBF, MTTR and operating costs to identify trends and performance gaps.
• Coordinate root cause analyses with site teams, technical experts and product companies, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Support technical upgrade programmes and product improvement projects to enhance fleet performance.
• Leverage digital tools, machine‑generated data and advanced analytics for decision‑making.
• Engage with customers through structured performance reviews and reporting.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, OEM protocols and local legislation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mining, Industrial or Reliability Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in mining equipment operations, product support, fleet management, reliability engineering, maintenance management and continuous improvement.
• Experience with underground mining equipment, OEM environments and African mining operations is preferred.
• Fluent English; French is advantageous.
