Project Manager – Power Generation (Lubumbashi)

About the role

Linum Consult is recruiting on behalf of an international client operating in Africa. The role is based in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and focuses on managing power generation plant equipment projects from order receipt through commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage full project lifecycles for power generation and balance‑of‑plant systems.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor activities across engineering, procurement, logistics, installation and commissioning.
• Track schedules, budgets and resources while identifying and mitigating risks.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards and provide regular progress reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Power Engineering with a project‑management certification.
• Proven experience delivering power generation and balance‑of‑plant projects in an engineering role.
• Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent in spoken and written French and English.
