Field Service Technician – Mining Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our ESCO team in Sakania, DRC. You will support mining operations by ensuring the performance and reliability of ESCO buckets and related wear components, while promoting safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate technical reports to aid operational decisions.
• Attend weekly bucket scheduling meetings to align service activities with mine priorities.
• Inspect ESCO buckets, lips and GET wear, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Identify and manage trial opportunities for new products, monitoring outcomes.
• Collect fleet information and support inventory management for critical parts.
• Promote ESCO products and services to grow business and market share.
• Maintain strong relationships with mine personnel as the on‑site ESCO ambassador.

Required profile

• Qualified artisan or equivalent technical certification.
• Experience working with mining equipment, specifically buckets and GET wear.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to health and environmental policies.
