Senior Accountant – OTC & Margin Accounting

About the role

The Senior Accountant for OTC & Margin Accounting will lead the financial reporting function for M-Pesa Finance, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant submissions across multiple reporting frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate IFRS and OHADA reporting submissions and maintain related templates.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis with clear commentary.
• Provide audit support documentation and ensure adherence to group reporting deadlines.
• Maintain internal controls and reporting templates to guarantee data integrity.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certification preferred.
• Proven experience in senior accounting roles, preferably within a financial services environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to produce accurate financial commentary.

Required skills

• IFRS reporting standards.
• OHADA reporting standards.
