Service Operations Manager – Kamoa Project

About the role

The Service Operations Manager for the Kamoa Project leads Epiroc’s service activities across multiple sites in the Kamoa mining area. You will be accountable for safe, efficient, and profitable service delivery while ensuring compliance with contractual and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all service activities, including maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and technical support.
• Manage service contracts, ensure KPI/SLA compliance, mitigate risks, and drive contract growth.
• Own the Service Operations P&L, meeting revenue, profitability, budgeting, invoicing, and cash‑flow targets.
• Plan manpower, monitor labor utilization, allocate resources, and maximize workforce efficiency.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high‑performing teams through succession planning and performance management.
• Promote a zero‑harm culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and report on business, financial, safety, and customer‑satisfaction metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical or Mining preferred), Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mining equipment service operations or heavy‑equipment maintenance.
• At least 5 years in a management role overseeing large field‑service teams in mining.
• Proven expertise in managing service contracts, operational P&L, and workforce planning.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, operational excellence, and customer relationship management.
• Experience working directly with major mining clients.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
