Site Manager – Mining Service Operations

About the role

Epiroc is seeking a Site Manager to lead its service operations at the Kansoko mine in Kolwezi, DRC. You will be responsible for driving safety, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance while managing a skilled team in a fast‑moving mining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Champion site safety and ensure compliance with SHEQ standards and legal requirements.
• Manage daily service activities, including workforce allocation, maintenance planning, and equipment uptime optimization.
• Ensure contract compliance, achieve KPIs, and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Oversee site financial performance, including P&L management, cost control, invoicing and labour recovery.
• Lead, develop and mentor the site team through skills development, localization programs and succession planning.
• Drive operational excellence via inventory management, continuous improvement initiatives and performance reporting.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mining or Maintenance Engineering.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in mining equipment maintenance, with 5+ years in supervisory or managerial roles.
• Proven experience managing site‑based maintenance contracts and leading mining service teams.
• Strong knowledge of Epiroc drilling and loading equipment is highly preferred.
