Supervisor – TSF Water & Tailing (Millwright)

About the role

The Supervisor – TSF Water & Tailing (Millwright) supports the TSF Water Management Superintendent in ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation of water recovery systems, pumping stations, decant facilities and related infrastructure at the tailings storage facility.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily TSF water management operations, monitoring water levels, freeboard and site water balance.
• Operate, monitor and maintain water recovery systems, pumping stations, decant facilities and transfer pumps.
• Execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, pipelines, valves, actuators, drive systems, MCCs, VSDs and transformers.
• Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation, telemetry, SCADA and automated control systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of water management infrastructure and report defects.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance contractors, manage critical spare parts and participate in root‑cause failure analyses.
• Support water management during heavy rainfall events and emergency situations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in water management operations within a tailings storage facility or similar mining environment.
• Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Commitment to safety and ability to lead by example.
