About the role
We are seeking a driven Techno Commercial Manager to lead business development, tendering and client relationship activities for electrical and cable projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Based in Gombe, Kinshasa, you will act as the bridge between technical delivery teams and commercial operations, overseeing the full cycle from proposal preparation to project execution and sales growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end tendering and quotation processes for electrical and cable projects.
- Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, procurement and logistics teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals in line with company targets.
- Monitor project progress and provide timely reporting to senior management.
- Represent the company professionally in client meetings, site visits and industry events.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the electrical or cable industry.
- Proven track record in tendering, quotations and technical proposal writing.
- Strong business development and client management capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently in an international, multicultural environment.
- Willingness to be based in Gombe, Kinshasa on a residential assignment.
