Community Health System Strengthening Project Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Community Health System Strengthening (CHSS) Project Coordinator to support the implementation of health projects in partnership with provincial and district health offices. The role involves adapting project activities to local contexts, ensuring timely reporting, and building the capacity of volunteer health workers.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with provincial and district health offices to tailor project implementation to community needs.
• Implement the project log‑frame within design and budget, and prepare impact stories, quarterly and monthly reports, and detailed implementation plans.
• Identify and mitigate risks with government counterparts to ensure quality delivery.
• Organise training, coaching and mentoring for volunteer health volunteers (VHVs) on technical curricula.
• Lead reflection and learning processes, and ensure VHVs have the capacity for RMNCAH household visits.
• Conduct regular monitoring, spot‑checks, and use standardized tools to track progress.
• Analyse data with the MEAL team, produce progress reports for line managers and technical specialists.
• Represent World Vision at district and health centre levels to strengthen partnerships and sustainability.
• Coordinate with finance and administration to plan activities, manage procurement and facilitate payments.

Required profile

• Experience working with health ministries, NGOs or community health projects.
• Strong understanding of reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health (RMNCAH) interventions.
• Proven ability to produce evidence‑based reports and impact stories.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
