Deputy Project & Contract Manager

About the role

The Deputy Project & Contract Manager will support the Project Manager in overseeing after‑sales mining projects for BIA Group. This role focuses on structuring, organizing, monitoring and developing contracts that align with the company’s strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor assigned mining projects in close collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Ensure contractual commitments are met and represent BIA’s interests on site.
• Conduct regular client and team visits, facilitate on‑site meetings and report risks promptly.
• Prepare project reviews, propose corrective actions and resource plans.
• Develop product knowledge of Komatsu or related equipment for internal teams.
• Analyse and monitor operational reporting and provide backup for the Project Manager.
• Support commercial activities, maintain customer relations, and identify business development opportunities.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience, preferably in management or project coordination.
• Strong customer focus and problem‑solving attitude.
• Experience with international organisations and local presence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using MS Project or similar planning software.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP (a plus).
