Electrical Engineer – Solar Hybrid & Industrial Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Electrical Engineer to lead the design, commissioning and long‑term operation of a solar hybrid power system while managing the electrical infrastructure of our agro‑industrial facilities, including mills, silos, residential units and utilities. The role combines project engineering, field execution and O&M, acting as the on‑site technical lead for both renewable and conventional power assets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee commissioning, optimisation and daily performance of solar PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Review and validate engineering deliverables such as Single Line Diagrams, panel schedules and equipment specifications.
• Coordinate EPC contractors, equipment suppliers and consultants to ensure compliance and timelines.
• Design, install and supervise low‑voltage (LV) and medium‑voltage (MV) distribution networks for industrial and residential loads.
• Perform load analysis, cable sizing and protection coordination to guarantee grid stability.
• Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans for PV arrays, batteries, diesel generators and switchgear.
• Supervise, mentor and schedule on‑site electricians and technicians.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics and control‑panel designs for new projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in solar hybrid or industrial power projects.
• Strong project management and contractor coordination skills.
• Ability to work on‑site and lead multidisciplinary teams.
