About the role
The Emergency Specialist will coordinate UNICEF’s country‑wide Ebola response in the Democratic Republic of Congo, overseeing planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of emergency interventions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead emergency preparedness and public health readiness activities.
- Coordinate the Ebola emergency response across sectors.
- Manage the Ebola programme and strategic coordination with national authorities and partners.
Required profile
- Advanced university degree in social sciences, public administration, law, public health, nutrition, international relations, business administration or related fields.
- At least eight years of progressively responsible professional experience at national and international levels in programme or project management.
