About the role

The Emergency Specialist will coordinate UNICEF’s country‑wide Ebola response in the Democratic Republic of Congo, overseeing planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of emergency interventions.

Key responsibilities

Lead emergency preparedness and public health readiness activities.
Coordinate the Ebola emergency response across sectors.
Manage the Ebola programme and strategic coordination with national authorities and partners.

Required profile

Advanced university degree in social sciences, public administration, law, public health, nutrition, international relations, business administration or related fields.
At least eight years of progressively responsible professional experience at national and international levels in programme or project management.
