Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will ensure strong financial stewardship, accountability, and risk management for the Country Program and its partners. This role supports high‑quality programs serving vulnerable populations by overseeing financial systems, processes, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage financial processes in line with policies, local laws, and GAAP.
• Provide proactive financial advice throughout the project cycle, ensuring compliance with CRS policies, donor regulations, and legal requirements.
• Lead budget development, monitoring, and reporting for annual program plans and projects.
• Maintain the integrity of accounting information, conduct quality control, and ensure an auditable documentation trail.
• Prepare accurate financial data, analysis and projections to support leadership decision‑making and risk mitigation.
• Manage and develop the finance team, including coaching, performance management and well‑being.
• Oversee timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assess and strengthen the financial management capacity of staff and sub‑recipients.
• Lead the resolution of audit findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent professional qualification (CPA/ACCA).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar finance role with substantial budgeting and accounting responsibilities.
• Demonstrated experience with GAAP, financial reporting, and audit processes.
• Preferred: Master’s degree, additional professional certification, and experience in an international NGO.
