Procurement & Sourcing Superintendent (Level I)

About the role

The Kamoa Copper Mine is seeking a Superintendent I to lead procurement and sourcing activities for both operational and project needs. This senior position ensures the timely availability of goods and services while aligning with company policies, commercial objectives, and governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes for operational and project requirements.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with approved suppliers.
• Engage internal stakeholders to deliver reliable service and support.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reporting, and compliance with governance standards.
• Supervise and develop assigned procurement personnel.
• Adhere to HSEQ standards and company procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Finance, Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 6 years of local purchasing experience in the mining sector.
• Experience with Integrated Information Management Systems.
• Business‑level proficiency in English; French or Swahili is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal abilities.
