Senior Structural Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Structural Engineer to lead complex structural projects within a multidisciplinary consulting environment. The role requires independent work, technical leadership, and the ability to deliver high‑quality designs using modern BIM workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage reinforced concrete and steel structure projects.
• Deliver projects using BIM tools, operating Revit models and cloud‑based platforms.
• Lead small design teams, ensuring quality compliance with ISO standards.
• Prepare and present technical reports and paper‑less structural schemes.
• Monitor project schedules, finances, and resources across multiple assignments.
• Act as a health, safety, environment and quality (SHEQ) role model.
• Liaise with clients, project teams, and construction personnel.

Required profile

• BSc (Hons) in Structural Engineering; MEng/MSc is advantageous.
• 7+ years of structural engineering experience, preferably with civil engineering exposure.
• Registered as PrEng with ECSAC (or equivalent).
• Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and manage teams.
• Valid ID and driver’s licence; willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, CAD).
• Experience with Prokon design software.
• Finite element analysis tools such as SAFE, ETABS, Robot.
• Advanced Excel programming.
• Knowledge of Rhino and Grasshopper for parametric design.
• Strong understanding of structural element estimation, construction methods, and economic considerations.
