Administration and Finance Analyst for Sustainable Energy Program

About the role

The Administration and Finance Analyst will support the Sustainable Energy 2 Program in Kinshasa, ensuring efficient day‑to‑day operations, financial management and compliance with UNCDF/UNDP rules. The role reports to the Energy Investment Program Manager and contributes to the achievement of donor‑committed timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing annual work plans, budgets, budget revisions and procurement plans, ensuring proper system entry.
• Monitor project expenditures, cash flows and support quarterly Fund Authorization and Certification of Expenditures (FACE) reviews.
• Maintain detailed financial records, perform bank reconciliations and prepare financial forecasts and reports.
• Support procurement processes, including drafting requests for quotations, managing contracts and tracking vendor performance.
• Oversee office logistics, asset management, travel arrangements and facilitate communication between project teams and partners.
• Assist internal and external audits, and help implement risk‑management and compliance measures.

Required profile

• Experience in financial management, budgeting and reporting within an international development context.
• Knowledge of UNDP/UNCDF procurement and financial regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
