Consultant, National Resource Mobilization and Stakeholder Engagement

About the role

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is seeking a Consultant to lead resource mobilisation and stakeholder engagement for cholera elimination in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The role supports the 2023–2027 Multisectoral Strategic Plan for Cholera Elimination (PMSEC) by securing local and national resources and ensuring coordinated action among partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and map local funding sources relevant to cholera prevention and response.
• Develop and implement resource mobilisation strategies aligned with the PMSEC.
• Engage national and sub‑national stakeholders to secure commitments of financial and in‑kind resources.
• Coordinate stakeholder activities at all levels to ensure synergy and avoid duplication.
• Mobilise resources to support cholera preparedness, outbreak response, and long‑term elimination efforts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in resource mobilisation and stakeholder engagement within humanitarian or public‑health contexts.
• Familiarity with cholera control initiatives or similar multisectoral health programmes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with government, NGOs, donors, and community actors.
• Strong analytical and coordination skills.
