Emergency Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking an Emergency Supply Chain Coordinator to support its Ebola response in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. You will work directly with the IRC’s dedicated response team to ensure the safe and continuous delivery of essential health commodities in a highly complex humanitarian environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the supply chain for emergency health services, ensuring timely procurement, transport, and distribution of medical and non‑medical items.
• Support the implementation of infection prevention and control (IPC) measures by providing the necessary supplies and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and generate reports to inform decision‑making.
• Collaborate with local partners, health facilities, and security teams to navigate logistical challenges in insecure areas.
• Assist in establishing screening and isolation capacities as part of the overall outbreak response.

Required profile
