Finance Manager, Budgeting and Reporting

About the role

The Finance Manager, Budgeting and Reporting will support the Finance and Emergency Deputy Director of Finance in overseeing the budgeting and reporting functions of the IRC national office in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This position plays a key role in ensuring financial resources are allocated efficiently to support humanitarian programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development, monitoring and revision of the annual budget.
• Prepare and analyse regular financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Track expenditures against budget lines and flag variances.
• Ensure compliance with IRC financial policies, donor requirements and local regulations.
• Coordinate with programme teams to gather financial data and provide budgeting guidance.
• Support the preparation of financial forecasts and scenario analyses.
• Assist in audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries.
