Financial Management Analyst – Kinshasa Cluster

About the role

The Financial Management Analyst will support the Kinshasa cluster by overseeing financial performance, ensuring accurate reporting, and coordinating budgets across multiple projects. This position works closely with field teams, donors, and senior analysts to maintain financial integrity and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor burn rates for all cluster projects, identify trends, and flag risks to the Senior Analyst.
• Produce detailed project financial reports and consolidate them into cluster‑level summaries for internal and donor use.
• Prepare and present Field Financial Reports (FFRs) at the cluster level.
• Conduct variance analysis, investigate deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead budget preparation, consolidate inputs, and upload approved budgets into Horizon and IMPAQ systems.
• Upload invoices into Provision, support mobile‑money disbursements, and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Update and verify the asset register in collaboration with Admin and SCM.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor financial implementation, build capacity, and resolve operational challenges.
• Implement cost allocation methodologies for shared services and track cost recovery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and variance analysis.
• Experience coordinating budgets and working with donor‑funded projects.
• Ability to travel to field locations and engage with operational teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain audit‑ready documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Horizon financial system.
• Proficiency with IMPAQ financial system.
• Proficiency with Provision invoicing system.
• Experience using mobile‑money platforms for disbursements.
