Foreman Mechanical (Pumps) – 2 Positions

About the role

Kamoa Copper SA is seeking two experienced Mechanical Foremen to lead pump‑related activities in its underground copper mine. You will ensure the mine stays dewatered, support water supply, and oversee the installation and construction of pumping systems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate specialist teams to maintain optimal underground conditions and prevent flooding.
• Supervise dewatering operations, dam construction, and pump installation.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across functional lines to enhance collaboration.
• Monitor costs, drive efficiency, and support transformation initiatives including automation and sustainability.
• Integrate HSEQ standards into all work processes and ensure accurate reporting and governance.

Required profile

• N3 Certificate and trade‑tested Artisan qualification (Fitting, Rigger or Boilermaker).
• Minimum 10 years of qualified experience in an underground mining environment.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Proven knowledge of mining pump installation and construction.
• Business‑level English; French or Swahili is a strong advantage.
