In-Country Coordinator for CDC Technical Assistance Platform (TAP) in DRC

About the role

PATH is seeking an In‑Country Coordinator (ICC) to lead the implementation of the CDC Technical Assistance Platform (TAP) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The role will support the deployment of interoperable health information systems, including electronic medical records, to strengthen HIV/AIDS and TB epidemic control under the PEPFAR framework.

Key responsibilities

• Assist CDC country office and CDC HQ in coordinating and managing TAP implementation activities in DRC.
• Provide technical assistance on EMR identification, development, deployment, maintenance, and interoperability with laboratory and other health information systems.
• Lead capacity‑building initiatives in data governance, privacy, security, confidentiality, and health informatics workforce development.
• Collaborate closely with the Ministry of Health, CDC DRC, and other PEPFAR‑funded partners to ensure alignment with national digital health strategies.
• Document project progress, produce reports, and support project management activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating health information system projects in low‑resource or humanitarian settings.
• Strong understanding of digital health policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills, with ability to work across ministries, NGOs, and international agencies.
