Internal Audit Manager

About the role

Trade Ventures is looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager to strengthen governance, risk management, compliance and internal control frameworks across its manufacturing and FMCG operations in Congo. You will work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to drive audit excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute risk‑based internal audit plans aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct operational, financial, compliance and process audits across manufacturing and commercial functions.
• Evaluate and improve internal controls, risk management practices and governance processes.
• Review key business functions including Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Inventory Management and Sales.
• Identify business risks and recommend practical solutions to improve efficiency and control effectiveness.
• Prepare and present audit findings, reports and recommendations to Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
• Monitor implementation of corrective actions and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Support fraud investigations, compliance reviews and special audit assignments when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 + years of internal audit experience.
• Previous experience with a Big 4 or Top 10 audit firm is highly preferred.
• Strong industry experience within manufacturing and FMCG environments.
• Experience presenting audit findings to executive leadership and board‑level stakeholders.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA or equivalent is preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
