Khmer Language Expert (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a native or near‑native Khmer speaker to join our AI team on a contract basis. You will help shape advanced language models by creating, reviewing, and refining Khmer content for a variety of AI applications.

Key responsibilities

• Review, edit, and improve Khmer language content for accuracy, cultural relevance, and clarity.
• Translate documents between Khmer and English with precise contextual understanding.
• Collaborate with AI trainers and linguists to build high‑quality language data sets.
• Analyze linguistic data to spot trends, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Provide feedback on language tasks to guide AI model development.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native fluency in Khmer with strong grammar and idiomatic knowledge.
• Proven experience in editing, proofreading, and written communication in both Khmer and English.
• Significant background in translation, localization, or linguistic data annotation.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic remote environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
