Liaison Officer for Central Africa Operations

About the role

Starlite Aviation Group is seeking a reliable Liaison Officer to act as the primary communication bridge between the client and the base team in Central Africa. The role ensures smooth coordination of mission planning, logistics, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the official communication channel between the client and Starlite’s base team, relaying mission details, requests, and feedback.
• Support logistics coordination, scheduling, documentation, and base readiness for flight operations, including crew briefings and contingency planning.
• Monitor compliance with local and SACAA aviation regulations and manage risk by identifying contract‑related hazards.
• Track base expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary limits and act as the point of contact for crew concerns.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French is an advantage.
• Professionalism, discretion, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work under pressure in austere environments.
• Experience in aviation, humanitarian, or military/UN/EU operations, preferably with exposure to medical evacuation or logistics.
• Previous work experience in Central Africa or similar settings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and MS Teams.
• Familiarity with reporting systems and common communication tools.
