Loading Master – FLNG/FPSO Offshore Vessel

About the role

The Loading Master will be responsible for overseeing all loading operations on a Liberian‑flagged FPSO operating in a FLNG environment. This offshore position requires strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards while ensuring efficient cargo handling.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and execute loading and off‑loading procedures on the FPSO.
• Coordinate with deck officers, marine crew and shore‑based teams to ensure safe cargo transfer.
• Monitor compliance with BOSIET, OPITO and other safety certifications.
• Maintain accurate loading records and reports in accordance with maritime regulations.
• Conduct pre‑operation safety briefings and emergency response drills.

Required profile

• Valid Seaman Book or STCW certification (mandatory).
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Current BOSIET and OPITO certifications.
• Minimum five years of experience on FLNG projects.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts, 7 days a week, on a rotating schedule (28/28 or 35/5).
