Malaria and Campaign Digitization Technical Advisor

About the role

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is seeking a motivated Technical Advisor to lead its malaria and campaign digitization program in Francophone Africa, with a primary focus on the Democratic Republic of Congo. This role combines public‑health expertise with digital innovation to accelerate reductions in malaria incidence and mortality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement digitization strategies for malaria surveillance and campaign activities across target regions.
• Collaborate with government ministries, NGOs, and private‑sector partners to integrate digital tools into existing health systems.
• Analyze epidemiological data and digital metrics to inform program adjustments and scale‑up plans.
• Provide technical guidance and capacity‑building to local teams on data collection, management, and use of digital platforms.
• Monitor and report on program performance, ensuring alignment with CHAI’s impact and sustainability goals.

Required profile

• Strong background in public health, preferably with experience in malaria control or infectious disease programs.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive implementation in complex, resource‑limited settings.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a results‑oriented mindset.
