Managerial Leader Technical Services Optimization

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Managerial Leader to head Technical Services Optimization for a world‑class underground mining operation. The role blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution, ensuring safe, sustainable production while driving continuous improvement across multiple engineering disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate and coordinate Mine Planning, Survey, Geotechnical, and Ventilation engineering functions.
• Lead operational decision‑making and mine performance optimization.
• Oversee mine reconciliation, operational reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and develop the next generation of technical mining talent.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sustainability standards in a complex underground environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• 12–15 years of experience in underground mining, preferably in mechanized operations.
• Proven track record managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Experience with variable ore bodies, significant water inflows, and challenging geotechnical conditions.
