Premium Cash Assistant

About the role

Wave is building a cashless Africa and needs a diligent professional to support its Premium Agency network. As a Premium Cash Assistant you will be the first point of contact for agents and customers, ensuring smooth cash flow and accurate transaction records.

Key responsibilities

• Assist nearby agents with liquidity needs, handling deposits and withdrawals.
• Provide support on Wave products, account opening, app usage, and physical card queries.
• Maintain daily reconciliation of premium points and record all cash transactions in the treasury system.
• Request and allocate sufficient funds to keep agent balances balanced.
• Report discrepancies, challenges, and counterfeit bills to the Premium Cash Officer and leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in cash management, reconciliation, liquidity management, or cash handling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in French; English and a local language are a plus.
• Previous front‑office customer service or banking experience.
• High attention to detail, vigilance, and strong integrity.
