Project Director - Faith and Community Initiative (FCI)

About the role

World Vision Democratic Republic of Congo (World Vision DRC) is seeking a Project Director to lead the Faith and Community Initiative (FCI). The role focuses on improving the well‑being of vulnerable children, families and communities through faith‑based partnerships and integrated development programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Faith and Community Initiative across multiple provinces.
• Oversee integrated programmes in health, nutrition, child protection, education, WASH, food security and livelihoods.
• Collaborate with government institutions, local communities, faith leaders, civil society organisations and development partners.
• Strengthen community resilience and promote sustainable development through evidence‑based interventions.
• Ensure strong governance, financial integrity and compliance with national regulations and international standards.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience leading development projects in humanitarian contexts.
