Project Manager – Stabilization Projects (Kalemie, DRC)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Project Manager to support the implementation, monitoring and development of stabilization projects in Kalemie, Democratic Republic of Congo. The role contributes to projects linked to the mission and to the community‑policing approach with the Congolese National Police.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, coordinate and implement all project activities related to the sub‑office, ensuring compliance with IOM administrative policies and donor requirements.
• Provide technical advice, analysis and input to the Programme Manager, Chief of Mission and other stakeholders on issues arising during project implementation.
• Organise training sessions and other capacity‑building activities for project partners, including the Congolese National Police.
• Support the development and monitoring of stabilization projects linked to the mission and the community‑policing approach in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Required profile

• Works under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission in Kinshasa and the direct supervision of the Programme Manager (Law Enforcement Training and Border Management) in Lubumbashi.
