Retail Operations Specialist – Mobile Phone Products

About the role

We are seeking a Retail Operations Specialist to manage daily store activities for a leading mobile phone and consumer electronics distributor in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role focuses on ensuring smooth store operations, driving sales performance, and maintaining brand standards across retail outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee HONOR retail stores and counters, ensuring cleanliness, proper product displays, and accurate pricing.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales targets, supporting staff in customer interactions and closing sales.
• Manage staff schedules, attendance, and deliver basic product and sales training.
• Track inventory of phones, accessories and marketing materials, reporting shortages or damages promptly.
• Collect and analyse sales data, store traffic and conversion rates, preparing regular operation reports.
• Assist headquarters and regional teams in executing in‑store promotions and experiential marketing events.

Required profile

• High school diploma or higher.
• 1‑2 years of experience in retail operations or sales management within mobile phones, electronics or FMCG.
• Familiarity with the local retail market in Kinshasa or Lubumbashi.
• Fluent in French and local languages; basic English preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting and data analysis.
