Sales and Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Specialist will drive promotion of United Friends' College’s language programmes and translation/interpretation services in Kinshasa. Working full‑time on‑site, you will generate leads, nurture relationships with learners, schools and corporate clients, and support revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute targeted sales and marketing campaigns, both online and offline.
• Manage social media channels and coordinate promotional activities.
• Identify prospective learners and partners, conduct consultations and prepare proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to align messaging with program offerings.
• Organise information sessions, events and outreach activities.
• Collect market feedback and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Train and support staff on basic sales and customer‑engagement practices.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven sales and pipeline‑management experience, preferably in education or language services.
• Capacity to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Fluency in French and good working knowledge of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
