Senior Advisor - Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI)

About the role

As Senior Advisor you will provide strategic and technical leadership to advance gender equality, disability inclusion, and social inclusion across the East Asia region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional GEDSI strategy and roadmap aligned with organizational policies.
• Lead GEDSI mainstreaming and quality assurance across programming, grants, and organizational systems.
• Strengthen capabilities of GEDSI focal points, technical teams, partners, and representative organisations.
• Generate evidence, learning, and innovation and strengthen World Vision’s external positioning on GEDSI.
• Manage and coordinate GEDSI‑related consultancies, technical assistance engagements, and partnerships.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience providing strategic and technical leadership on gender equality, disability inclusion and social inclusion in international development or humanitarian programming.
• Experience supporting GEDSI‑responsive designs, mainstreaming strategies across multiple sectors and funding streams.
• Experience leading GEDSI analysis and integrating findings into design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and learning.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, partnership and influencing skills.
• Experience working in or across the East Asia region.

Required skills

• Knowledge of gender and disability analysis tools, including Washington Group Questions.
• Experience with disaggregated data collection and use in programme design.
