Senior HEA Manager

About the role

The Senior HEA Manager provides strategic leadership for World Vision’s humanitarian programmes, focusing on crisis response, disaster risk reduction and preparedness. This fast‑paced role requires quick decision‑making that directly impacts vulnerable children, families and communities in emergency contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the country humanitarian strategy, ensuring alignment with World Vision’s objectives.
• Conduct humanitarian context and situation analyses to inform strategic planning.
• Design, monitor and evaluate technical programmes, integrating disaster management components.
• Influence internal and external stakeholders, including host governments and donors, on policy and humanitarian action.
• Support resource acquisition by contributing to donor proposals, rapid assessments and grant management.
• Manage the National Emergency Preparedness and Response Fund (NEPRF) in line with policy.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in humanitarian emergency response, DRR and preparedness.
• Proven leadership and strategic planning abilities.
• Strong resilience and capacity to work under high‑stress conditions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
