Senior Officer, Contracts Administration

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Officer to lead contracts administration within our mining supply chain. The role supports efficient supply‑chain operations by handling the procure‑to‑pay cycle, managing contracts, analysing data and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the procure‑to‑pay and contracts management cycles.
• Control the tenders email inbox and coordinate supplier meetings and KPI reviews.
• Source, analyse and interpret supply‑chain data to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance supply‑chain resilience.
• Monitor performance indicators, flag areas for improvement and support stakeholder management.

Required profile

• Degree in supply‑chain management, logistics or a related field; finance or business qualification preferred.
• Minimum 6 years experience as a Contract Administrator in a mining supply‑chain environment.
• Fluent business English; French, Swahili or Mandarin advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and culturally sensitive.

Required skills

• Mathematical and logical reasoning.
• Data mining and analysis tools.
• Supply‑chain management and inventory forecasting practices.
• Knowledge of tenders and supplier KPI management.
• Proficiency with MS Office, spreadsheet applications, SQL and other data‑analysis software.
