Senior Program Manager - DRC

About the role

The Senior Program Manager will lead a new large‑scale grant focused on improving immunization coverage in Lomami province, DRC. The role combines project management, grant administration, and global dissemination of results.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate development, updating and implementation of an integrated workplan across supply chain, service delivery, data systems and M&E workstreams.
• Maintain project governance, meeting cadence, decision‑making processes and action tracking for internal and external partners.
• Manage grant milestones, budgets, financial tracking and donor reporting, ensuring compliance and timely delivery of deliverables.
• Facilitate knowledge management, maintain a centralized project repository and ensure consistent use of project management tools.
• Collaborate with the Immunization Lead, country teams, research and learning groups, and external partners to align activities with provincial and national priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large health‑related grants or programs, preferably in immunization or primary health care.
• Strong ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams across country and global levels.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills for government, donors and partners.

Required skills

• Project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana) and tools.
• Grant and budget management, financial tracking and reporting.
• Data‑driven decision making and M&E oversight.
• Knowledge‑management processes and documentation standards.
