Specialised Officer – Spare Parts Management

About the role

The Specialised Officer, Spare Parts will ensure that all critical spare parts for the Kamoa Copper Mine smelter are available, delivered, and accepted on time, supporting uninterrupted plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an up‑to‑date equipment register and spare‑parts inventory.
• Coordinate procurement, delivery, and receipt of spare parts according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and provide parts to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve spare‑parts processes and reduce waste.
• Integrate HSEQ requirements into all activities and reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of experience in equipment or spare‑parts management, preferably in mining.
• Proficiency in business English; French is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving, analytical, and risk‑management abilities.
