Superintendent III – Slag Flotation Processing

About the role

Provide professional technical services, analysis and improvement solutions for the Slag Flotation Plant supporting concentrate and tail slag production at the Kamoa Copper Mine.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the smelter function to ensure world‑class performance.
• Deliver on construction and trial operation plans for the plant.
• Collect, analyse and report Slag Flotation Plant data.
• Provide technical support across all processing steps.
• Drive problem‑solving, continuous improvement and optimisation of processes.
• Act as the processing technology subject‑matter expert.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across teams and functions.
• Monitor costs and achieve cost efficiencies.
• Support the company’s transformation agenda.
• Maintain and improve reporting processes for the area of responsibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years experience in slag or oxide flotation.
• At least 2 years supervisory or managerial experience.
• Proficiency in business English; French and Swahili are advantageous.
