Supply Associate – Temporary (4 positions) – DRC

About the role

UNICEF is recruiting four Supply Associates on a temporary basis to support the Ebola emergency response in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The role involves managing procurement and supply activities across Kinshasa, Bunia, Beni and Butembo, ensuring that essential goods reach vulnerable children and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor end‑to‑end procurement and contracting processes.
• Manage procurement services, supply financing and emergency preparedness activities.
• Oversee localization of supplies and coordinate logistics in a complex, insecure environment.
• Maintain accurate information, data management and reporting for supply operations.
• Contribute to the design and improvement of supply services and delivery mechanisms.
• Supervise lower‑level staff as required.

Required profile

• Secondary education in supply chain management, procurement or a related field.
• Relevant work experience in procurement, supply chain or logistics, preferably in humanitarian or emergency settings.
• Ability to work independently, adapt procedures to challenging contexts and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
