Technical Project Manager – Perennial Malaria Chemoprevention

About the role

PATH is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the pilot implementation of Perennial Malaria Chemoprevention (PMC) in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role will work closely with the Study Lead, technical teams, and national health partners to ensure successful delivery of project activities and donor commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage work plans and donor deliverables, tracking implementation milestones and approvals.
• Understand and apply the research methods and objectives of the GiveWell‑PMC project.
• Coordinate team meetings, set agendas, and present strategic insights on risks, challenges, and opportunities.
• Provide technical assistance on stock management and transportation of Pyrimethamine/Sulfadoxine‑SP.
• Collaborate with supply‑chain focal points at national and provincial levels to ensure safe storage and distribution of drugs.
• Support provincial teams in commodity tracking, inventory management, and logistics analysis.

Required profile

• Background or strong interest in global health and malaria control.
• Highly motivated, hard‑working, with exceptional organizational abilities.
• Experience supervising staff such as Logistic Officers, M&E Associates, and provincial coordinators.
• Ability to work collaboratively with study leads, government agencies, and donors.
