Telco VAS Business Development Manager

About the role

PALM TV+ is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow its AI‑powered video and WhatsApp Business solutions across enterprise, corporate and SME segments in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The role is hands‑on, focusing on building a market, partner network and commercial pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a qualified pipeline of corporate and enterprise accounts, securing meetings and product demos with senior stakeholders.
• Negotiate recurring‑revenue agreements, pilot scopes and commercial contracts, and drive account expansion after deployment.
• Establish commercial relationships with mobile‑network operators, telecom aggregators, CPaaS providers and technology partners, creating distribution and revenue‑sharing proposals.
• Partner with business associations, influencers and SME communities to run campaigns, convert interest into paying customers and generate case studies.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, produce weekly pipeline reports and forecast recurring revenue.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of B2B sales or business‑development experience, including at least three years in enterprise sales.
• Proven track record selling telecom VAS, CPaaS, SaaS or WhatsApp Business solutions to large organisations.
• Established professional network in the DRC telecom, mining, banking or industrial sectors.
• Fluent in written and spoken French and English; ability to travel to customer sites.
