Warehouse Assistant

About the role

The Warehouse Assistant will support the Warehouse Manager in maintaining effective inventory control, asset management and compliance across Vodacom DRC warehouses operated by third‑party logistics providers. The role ensures smooth daily operations and accurate record‑keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily warehouse activities performed by the 3PL and ensure adherence to Vodacom processes and policies.
• Follow up on pending goods receipts, issues, returns and stock transfers, guaranteeing timely SAP/NSS entries.
• Verify supporting documents such as purchase orders, delivery notes, packing lists and inspection reports.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by reconciling physical stock with SAP/NSS records, participating in cycle counts and annual audits.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Support material issuance, dispatch control and returns, ensuring all movements are properly documented.
• Assist internal and external audits and uphold asset management compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics or telecom operations.
• Familiarity with SAP/NSS preferred.
