Financial Management Analyst – Lubumbashi Cluster

About the role

The Analyst – Financial Management for the Lubumbashi Cluster will provide comprehensive financial oversight and operational support across World Vision’s projects in the region. You will ensure effective resource utilization, compliance with donor requirements, and accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor burn rates, conduct variance analysis and produce detailed project and cluster‑level financial reports, including Field Financial Reports for internal and donor stakeholders.
• Lead budget coordination, align budgets with strategic priorities and integrate them into financial systems such as Horizon and IMPAQ.
• Oversee invoice processing, mobile‑money disbursements, asset management and reconciliation in collaboration with finance and operations teams.
• Support field operations through regular engagement, payment processing and procurement review.
• Manage shared cost allocations, asset tracking and ensure compliance with cost recovery and Support Cost Reallocation (SCR) guidelines.

Required profile

• First degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualification (ACCA or CIMA) is an advantage.
• Minimum three years of relevant finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, World Vision finance policies and grant accounting.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and communicate findings clearly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Sun Systems accounting software.
• Experience using Vision XL and Vision Executive.
• Ability to perform complex financial analyses and prepare financial statements.
