Technical Sales Engineer – Chinese Speaking

About the role

As a Technical Sales Engineer who speaks Chinese, you will drive growth for Epiroc in the Lubumbashi region by identifying new business opportunities, delivering tailored technical solutions, and building strong relationships with customers in the mining and construction sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Seek out and develop new business opportunities with potential clients.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Provide pre‑sale and post‑sale technical support, addressing customer requirements and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and customise solutions.
• Draft detailed technical proposals and reports to support sales activities.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings and market conditions.
• Work closely with the sales team and internal departments to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical sales or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the products or services being sold, typically backed by an engineering or technical background.
• Ability to negotiate deals, close sales and meet targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
