Responsable de la déradicalisation – Beni, Nord Kivu

About the role

The Deradicalization Lead will coordinate and oversee programs aimed at countering ADF/ISCAP extremist ideologies in Beni, North Kivu. Working closely with Bridgeway Foundation, local partners, and research teams, the role ensures that rehabilitation initiatives are effectively delivered to affected communities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement deradicalization and rehabilitation programs in line with best practices and organizational goals.
• Manage day‑to‑day administration and operations of the programs, ensuring adherence to protocols.
• Coordinate with partners, stakeholders, and community groups to align objectives and foster collaborative effort.
• Monitor program performance, produce reports, and adjust strategies as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, international relations or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Swahili (written and spoken).
• Minimum five years of experience in project coordination, rehabilitation, community organizing, or related work with former combatants or victims of conflict.
• Proven ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and reporting.
