Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

About the role

VectorOne is seeking a hands‑on Chief Technology Officer to shape the technology vision for its finance‑focused platform. The CTO will sit on the Executive Leadership Team, define the tech stack, and lead the build of products that modernise the Office of the CFO across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap and architecture across all product lines.
• Lead, mentor, and code alongside engineering and design teams.
• Build scalable platforms and infrastructure that accelerate product delivery and ensure quality.
• Make strategic build‑vs‑buy decisions and guide long‑term technology strategy.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with revenue targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably as a CTO or VP of Engineering.
• Strong track record of delivering complex, high‑impact software products.
• Ability to bridge high‑level strategy with hands‑on execution.
• Excellent leadership and mentorship skills.

Required skills

• Experience designing and managing large‑scale software architectures.
• Hands‑on coding ability in modern programming languages.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and platform engineering.
